Butser Hill

The first hill of the weekend was Butser Hill:

The path towards the top of Butser Hill. I love these paths that are on grass
where the volume of feet has been big enough to make the route clear but small
enough to keep the path as grass.

The trig point on the summit of Butser Hill (270m/886ft), near Petersfield in
Hampshire.

Looking south past the beacon to the sea near Portsmouth

The ribbon of the A3 cutting across the landscape, but from this distance adding
interest to the scene
