A selection of photos from Kew's Azalea Garden.

Azaleas were introduced as glasshouse plants to Europe from eastern North America during the early eighteenth century. The Garden concentrates on deciduous azalea hybrids (from the sub-series Luteum of the genus Rhododendron).
