Lake District – Binsey

A view up the pleasant lane from the A591 towards the northerly outlier of
Binsey

On the summit (447m / 1467ft) a tumulus has been turned into a number of wind
shelters

Another of the shelters and the trig point

On the descent, a view to Bassenthwaite Lake and the fells to its west including
Lord's Seat

The remains of a small quary and West Crag
