Hallin Fell - 15 October 2004

Good progress on our journey from London to Ayrshire allowed a short stop in the Lake District, and a walk up Hallin Fell from the hause.

Looking south from the summit of High Rigg (357m/1171ft), a knobbly little mass of land at the foot of Thirlmere, sandwiched between St John's in the Vale and Naddle Beck

Although surrounded by high fells, it is not connected to any. Looking past Keswick to the north-western fells and Bassenthwaite Lake
