Lake District 3 - Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway Walk

At Ravenglass station on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, our train, headed by River Irt, waits for the departure time

Lucy, Henry and George are among the dozen or so passengers on this lovely May day

From Dalegarth station we crossed the Esk by the slightly dodgy stepping stones, then walked down to this delightful suspension bridge across the river

Although ending with a road walk to Eskdale Green station, this was a lovely walk, with some of the path having recently been improved.
