Unfortunately, overnight it rained heavily, and the river level was back up to yesterday's peak. Lucy doesn't look pleased!

Night falls after our second day at Broad Cut Low Lock. The lock-keeper is optimistic, saying that the level is falling well and that no rain is forecast. We agree to meet him at 7.45 the next morning to assess the situation.
