Urra Moor
6 May 2007
On a day which had started very promisingly, by the time we reached the top of
Clay Bank, the skies were full of scudding clouds. As we begin our climb onto
Urra Moor, it is at least a bit clearer than yesterday. Centre picture is the
delightfully name and prominent Roseberry Topping.
Looking back down our ascent route, once more along the Cleveland Way.
George on the burnt heather moor of Urra Moor.
George on the summit of Urra Moor. Several days later our records revealed that
this was Stephen's 100th English
Marilyn - and George's 79th.
